PASTEL BEARS

"Pastel Bears" is a collaborative webcomic, created by Jacob Gregory Dammons, Malcolm Pryor, Orlando Laza González, and myself. I've contributed vis dev work, character designs, as well as lineart and colours for the comic pages.

The story follows the daily life of a koala, Deep Dish, as he and his friends navigate life as young queer people in a world where your place in society is shaped by whether you're a herbivore, or (as Deep DIsh learns about himself) a carnivore.

Here, you can see character and story art, as well as environment designs that I've contributed to the project during the pre-visualization stage.
LILY'S JOURNEY

Lily's Journey is a 5-minute animated short that I, and a group of 8 other students, produced for a 3rd year college assignment.
​
The story of the short sees a young girl, Lily, hiking with her estranged father, and the two of them bonding as he learns to see the world through her eyes.
​
My role on the team involved vis dev, character design and animation, and here you can see a selection of my character designs and development art for the project.
SEIDR

"Seidr" is a personal vis dev project that began as a concept for a superhero team, whose "trainee" member gradually realizes that he wants to live a more "mundane" life.
That story idea expanded as I worked on the character designs, but the core remains centered on main character Mason's search for fulfillment, and the ways he learns from the people around him.
